Introduction to one of the important members of Green property: Solar street lights
Solar street lights; have you ever heard about it. If you are an Environmentalist, it must not be strange to you. The solar powering technology has long been the candy floss of the eco home. It doesn’t require much, and produce little more than a pale blueish glow for years. So, let’s study more about the interesting product.
Yet in recent months, both solar panel technology and LED technology have proceeded at great speed. Laboratories in China, Japan and the United States are now producing brighter and more efficient LED lights, while at the same time bringing down the cost. The result? A lighting revolution the like of which we have not seen since the modern tungsten filament bulb was invented in 1907. But we could see we are not far from our goals.
When the development of in home LED solar powering light is very somehow difficult, the solar street light are well developed. They are now bright enough for street light systems – the village of Whittington in Staffordshire has just become one of the first places in the country where LED street lights have replaced old sodium ones – using 70 percent less energy and producing brighter light. Manufacturers have announced a series of breakthroughs in efficiency of the LED chip structure over the past year with lumens (measurement of brightness) per watt rising from 136 to 208 in February. As a comparison, sodium lights manage 132 lumens per watt; fluorescent bulbs 90 lumens per watt and the dear old tungsten bulb, a mere 17 lumens per watt, which is why they are so expensive to use lighting up your home. It’s amazing that the development of the technology makes it possible for us to use solar powering lights in every home.
Now many of the solar powering lights are not so cheap for every home to use. But it’s very interesting to use these solar powering lights. And Greenshine new energy technology have tried their best to make full use of the solar power and all your needs will be satisfied.
